Slings have been around for thousands of years. The tube style, or native style pouch sling is making a big comeback as a useful baby carrier that lasts from infancy well into toddlerhood (up to 35 lbs.). The Peekaboo Baby Collection sling is hip and stylish yet practical and cozy. It's made of 100% fleece that slightly stretches to snugly support your baby. Your baby's weight is evenly distributed across your torso making it much more comfortable to wear than other baby carriers.

In addition to the nurturing benefits of babywearing, this sling's simple good design and functionality will win you over. A single piece of fleece fabric is folded over and a 'tube' is created with a single curved seam: a reinforced industrial overlock surge stitch. Hands-free carrying with no belts, snaps or straps to adjust
for quick grab and go use. Our stylish fleece is so comfortable, you can enjoy extended wearing even with bigger babies and toddlers. The Peekaboo Pouch™ is a must-have item for any mom on the go. It's small enough to carry in your diaper bag and can also be used for discreet breast feeding, as a changing pad, or as a chic cozy blanket in the stroller or car seat.

WEAR the sling draped on one shoulder across your torso like a sash with the sling's seam at your opposite hip or in front of you. At first, try using when baby is happy and not hungry. With baby inside, the sling will stretch slightly and comfortably sit at or above your hips. For ultimate carrying comfort, make sure the sling is spread flat along your shoulder and around your back. There are many ways to wear your baby, practice and see what works for you. A couple of the more common positions are described below. For more examples, view the pictures at the photo gallery.

CRADLE your baby in the sling hammock style. With the seam positioned near your stomach, you can lay a newborn bottom first into the sling: Cradle your newborn in one arm, then with your free arm, open the pouch at the seam and lower newborn bottom first into pouch. Walk around, you're ready to go!

For bigger babies, I've found it's easier to hold your baby high on your unslinged shoulder as if burping her.
While holding baby with one hand, open the pouch with your free hand. Slide baby into the pouch feet first, then bottom and finally head with baby looking up at you. Gently adjust your baby until she is comfortably cradled on her back.

Pull fleece up on each side to form a deep cozy pouch for your baby. Once baby is secured in sling, walk around. He will enjoy your movement while his weight settles in.

HIP CARRY your toddler or older baby (at least 4-6 months).
Hold your toddler on your hip and slide the sling over him until the seam is securely under his bottom and thighs creating a seat. (If you are able to put the sling on first and then pick up baby, you can slide your baby's feet completely through the sling into the seat and then adjust baby and sling to your hip.)

For babies, you can separate the pouch
opening and pull one side up high along baby's back for support. Make sure the pouch underside is all the way under his bottom and thighs to the back of his knees.

Tip: A 'shoulder flip' (fold over the sling away from your neck to shorten the sling's diagonal) will tighten the fit.
